AN HISTORY, EXPERTS AND A GLOBAL RECOGNITION

The Maison La Mauny’s property has been deeply rooted in Martinique’s heritage. Its strong identity comes from the fact it has been a place of significant events. From the Southern Insurrection in 1870 to the birth of the AOC label (Protected Designation of Origin) in 1996, driven by J.P. Bourdillon (former CEO), from generation to generation men and women have transcended their history and sublimated it into a unique know-how that enhances the value of our terroir.

The Maison La Mauny cuvées are made with the fine expertise of the master cellar, Daniel BAUDIN, along with his team. In 2019 BAUDIN is awarded the prize of “Best Rhum Master Distiller” at the Internation Rhum Conference in Miami.

Striving for excellence, the teams work together spreading passion, knowledge, and love of one whole trade in order to capture at each production’s phase the authenticity and generosity of Maison La Mauny’s rhums. In 2020 this achievement is recognized at a global scale when the company received the couple of gold medals of “Rhum Producer” and “Outstanding Spirit Producer” at the International Wine & Spirit Competition de Londres.

Learn more through the contents of our Rhum Box, the interactive screen at the boutique.
